new business card, in letterpress

new business card, in letterpress

This is one of the new letterpress business cards I recently picked up from Middle Press in Brooklyn. Ben Owen’s shop, which came highly recommended by people I trust, does some fine work.

Coming next from his shop? Two new haiku card styles in letterpress — one along the lines of my existing handwritten haiku note cards, and another that is designed specifically as a thank you card.

I’m fortunate enough to be supported by people I truly admire. It’s a phenomenal thing to realize.

added visuals

advocate

My expressions are often subjected to the limitations of text, so I’m always pleased when someone finds a way to give my words a little more impact. Which is why I’m sharing this piece of visual art. It was put together by the talented folks at iFractal and sent my way by Frank.

It couples a haiku I posted last month (“advocate“) with a photo (“Lapsana apogonoides“) from jam343‘s flickr photostream.
