the keeping of faith
sometimes requires a belief
in realism.

I want, I need, somehow to believe in love. Sometimes that is all you have and hope to one day receieve it in return….if you are one of the lucky ones.

As the old song goes, “love is all around.” When you talk about being realistic, or believing in realism, I take it to mean believing in love as something other than that wretched feeling that tears your guts out, sans mercy.

But then I’ve always been prone to overanalyze.

I love this – realism is the base of lasting love.

tracy – I think your focus is on a different sort of love than the one I’m thinking of.

Adria – love is all around, and so are beauty and truth.

Heather – thank you. I agree wholeheartedly.
