lacking gravity
to keep you in my orbit,
I had to let go

  • Oh yes. I love it. I'm there.
  • Thanks. Can you relate? Sometimes accepting fact that someone just doesn't fit in your orbit is the hardest pill to swallow.

Oddly, in terms of format this one was a slight oversight. I was torn between trimming the third line to make it a strict 5-7-5 and adding a syllable to the first line to make it a 6-7-6. Either way, my intent was to make it symmetrical. Looking at it now, though, I may break with that compulsion and leave it like it is.

On second thought, I'm changing it.
