things we must

things we must

Later today I will attend the funeral of one of my aunts. I was thinking about how little I enjoy funerals, whether or not I am close to the person being mourned. Nonetheless, I can’t justify knowingly not attending the memorial services of someone I’ve known. It’s one of those things I have to get through, which is probably the least I can do to honor her and my family.

- just line up and pay respects
before moving on
