now available:
longhand poems and haiku
scribbled just for you

something fishyA while back I saw a movie where a poet on the street was soliciting money for personalized poems from passersby. It seemed like a neat sort of starving artist idea, so I thought I’d give it a try.

I’ve decided to send a handwritten haiku or short poem to anyone interested in shelling out a few bucks. For a limited time, you send me $10 US* (via Paypal), and I’ll send you a personalized verse for just about any occasion, person or topic you’d like. Your handwritten verse will be scribbled in a Crane & Co. card like the one you see pictured.

To have a personalized handwritten verse sent your way within the United States, you can click the “Buy Now” button below, which will take you to the Paypal website to process your payment. There you can enter more specific instructions, such as who or what you’d like your verse to be about, in the “Special instructions…” field.

If you want a haiku or poem sent your way somewhere outside the U.S. (or if you have other details or questions too cumbersome for the Paypal form), please contact me via email. Certain special considerations or foreign orders may cost more to process.

*For most domestic orders, the standard price will cover shipping and handling.
