best wishes
Even if you weren’t on my holiday card list this year, I hope the season has gone well for you and the coming year is an exceptional one.
dabbling for the holidays
Since I’ve been in the card business for a couple months now, I decided to take a stab at making my own holiday cards from scratch. I’ve unofficially referred to them as the “2010 Snowflake Series” because they’re semi-randomly stamped with silver snowflakes, and no two cards are exactly alike.
Inventory is extremely limited. That means if you get one, you’re a very lucky person – especially if it arrives before Christmas. On the other hand, if you know me (and I have your address) and you don’t get one, don’t read too much into it; I can be pretty absent-minded sometimes.
note cards, anyone?
When I first launched Analog Impulse note cards, part of me feared it would be the type of venture that would leave me with nothing but a glut of inventory I’d never get rid of. Thankfully, that hasn’t been the case. The production budget for the first series of cards was paid for before they even went to press, thanks to pre-orders and investors.
With the new year drawing near, I’ve been discussing plans to make some changes to the note card model. This will probably entail closing out the first series and offering a set of new haiku on a second series. So, for a limited time, the price for a half-dozen of these note cards has been reduced until the end of the holiday season or until inventory runs out – whichever comes first.
To take advantage of this pricing, you can order through analogimpulse.net or Etsy.com. (Orders placed by Wednesday, December 15, 2010, will have a money-back guarantee if not delivered before December 24, 2010.)

Indy Hall
I’ve been spending time at Independent’s Hall in Old City since the beginning of November. It’s what’s known as a coworking space. Not merely office space rental like your local Fedex Kinkos, but a place created by the kind of independent and creative people it’s meant to benefit.
